So i'm kind of struggling right now...i've been going to practice and the coach has been pushing me lately, in a good way like putting me in the high groups. but lately i've been wondering if i want to be in track, im a returner&im thinking of just taking a year off 'cause i havent been really feeling track this yeah but i know im going to regret it &ive been missing alot of days without telling my coach and i feel really bad because i dont want to lose trust.. i dont know what to do, help?

if you feel like you’re being pushed too hard, tell your coach.  You know your body and your limits and what is best for you and they should respect you.  If something dose not feel right, then say so.  Track may also not be your thing.  Everyone has something they love, the trick is finding what it is.  Maybe try different events or something.  I just randomly decided I wanted to hurdle, and I am now one of the best in my league and I have a pretty good chance to break my school’s hurdle records.  Try new things (both track and non-track related) and have fun.  I wish you luck :)
